Conditions of Hire

 

  1. GENERAL.  The property is hired on the understanding that the accommodation is for holiday use only and that no right to remain in the accommodation exists for the guest or anyone in the party.
  2. OBLIGATIONS.  Care must be taken of the property and it must be left clean and tidy and all furniture returned to the place in which it was found on entry.  The owners, or their agents, reserve the right to reasonable access to the property during the period of hire.
  3. BOOKING.  The property will not be considered to be booked until we have issued  a receipt for the deposit of £75 for each week booked.                                                                                                                
  4. OVERSEAS BOOKINGS.  To be in pounds sterling and booking conditions to be as note 3 above. Please ask for details of paying by PayPal.
  5. CANCELLATION.  If the holiday is cancelled after a deposit has been paid, the deposit is forfeited.
  6. NON AVAILABILITY OF PROPERTY.  If due to reasons beyond the control of the owners, the accommodation is not available, the owners will refund the deposit and will assume no further liability towards you.
  7. FINAL PAYMENT.  The balance of the rent is payable on arrival at the start of your holiday, as noted on the booking form. Non payment at this time will be considered as cancellation and the property may be re-let.  Any refund of deposit will be entirely at the owners discretion.
  8. SMOKING. No smoking is allowed in any part of the building including the communal areas.
  9. PETS.  No pets of any kind are permitted on the property.
  10. DURATION AND TIME OF LETTING.  Occupancy cannot normally begin until 3pm on the first day of the hire, and departure must be by 10am on the final day, unless otherwise arranged.
  11. NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS.  The hirer agrees that the property will not be occupied by more that 2 persons as stated on the booking form.
  12. DAMAGE.  Guests must report any damage or breakages that occur during their stay.  An appropriate charge will be made for repair of replacement.
  13. BED LINEN.  This is included in the hire charge and will be fresh on arrival.  Towels can be supplied on request.
  14. The owners of the property cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to property or goods belonging to you or any member of your party, however the damage is caused.  Nor can they be held liable for any loss, damage, injury or sickness occurring to you or any member of your party or third party.  The use of amenities is entirely at the users risk.
  15. Guests are expected to behave reasonably ie no excessively loud noise including music, at any time and certainly not after 11pm.  In the event of a breach of this condition, the owners reserve the right to take whatever enforcement action necessary. There are a number of privately owned flats within the building and the residents privacy must be respected.
  16. AUTHORITY TO SIGN.  The person who signs the booking form certifies that he or she is authorised to agree to the conditions of hire on behalf of all persons included on the form including those substituted or added at a later date. The signatory must be a member of the party intending to occupy the property and be over the age of 21.  The owners reserve the right to refuse the occupancy if they feel these conditions have not been met.
  17. COMPLAINTS.  In the unlikely event of a complaint, the guest must first contact the owner as soon as possible.  Contact must be made before departure and a site inspection made.
  18. THE CONTRACT.  Accepted shall be between the person signing the official booking form and the owners of the property.
