Directions... These are directions for travelling by car. For information about travelling to Fowey by public transport please visit the Fowey Tourist Information Centre website (www.fowey.co.uk). Because the town centre can be very busy, and with limited parking, we suggest you go to either the main car park at Hanson Drive (above the town), or Caffa Mill car park, (level access) by the Bodinnick Ferry, on arrival, and walk into town to find the apartment before driving down later to unload. You should be able to stop to unload opposite the apartment, which is located off the main street (Fore Street) via a private path, (Somerset Court) between Boots Pharmacy and Niles Bakery. The main door to the apartments is half way down on the right. Arrangements for arrival and keys will be made once a booking has been confirmed. |
Parking...
The following charges for 2010/11 are correct to the best of our knowledge, however, you are advised to check on the signs posted in the car parks:
Caffa Mill Car Park (by Bodinnick Ferry) and “Main” Car Park – (Hanson Drive, at the top of the town)
9am-6pm - £1.10 per hour 4 hours - £4.00 24 hrs £5.30
Weekly Rover Ticket
- £30
These can be used in both the Caffa Mill and Main
car parks and in any long-term Cornwall Council car parks
throughout Cornwall – but not in the Harbour
Commissioner’s Car Park. A ticket does not guarantee a space.
Also valid for up to 2 hours on Albert Quay (centre of Fowey)
– but only once in 24 hours.
Weekly
tickets can be purchased at Fowey Tourist Information
Centre. You will need your car registration
number, where you are staying in Fowey and you
will be asked to pay in cash. You can also buy your Rover
ticket in advance, using a payment card, by phoning the St
Austell One stop Shop on 01726 223365. They will
post the permit to you. It is recommended you give at least
3 weeks’ notice.
(If you buy in
advance and then take a different car you will need to get
the registration number changed or the permit will not be
valid.)
Fowey Harbour

Now open all year with a reduced number of
spaces out of season.
